Men's Discipleship Groups
A number of men’s groups meet at various times during the week to gather together and study a book of the Bible or relevant topical book on faith and life.
Women's Discipleship Group
Every other Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m., the Women’s Discipleship Group meets in the youth room. Our goal is to both learn God’s word and learn to live it. We walk through various books of the Bible together using study guides. We challenge and encourage each other as we read scripture, use Bible study tools to dig deeper, and engage in mentor-led discussions. We are a joy-filled group where hearts are being transformed through a deeper connection with God—and with each other.
Wednesday Evening Discipleship Group
Meeting on Wednesday evenings alongside GEMS and Boy’s Club, our Wednesday Discipleship Group offers a space to dive deep into the foundations of Reformed Theology. We explore core doctrines—such as the attributes of God, the Trinity, and the plan of salvation—and discuss how these truths transform our daily lives. This group is designed for convenience, meeting from 6:45–7:45 p.m. to align perfectly with children’s program drop-off and pick-up. Join us for a time of challenging study and rich discussion as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word together.
Adult Education
Most Sundays between September through May after the worship service, we offer an adult education time covering a variety of topics focused on deepening our understanding of the Bible and providing deeper discussion on topics related to our Christian faith. Regular updates on the schedule and topics covered are in the weekly bulletin. Listen to recordings of past sessions on YouTube.
Discovery Classes
If you are interested in learning more about Brookfield CRC consider attending our Discovery Classes (for church membership). The series of 4 classes are offered twice a year and help you delve deeper into the faith life of the church. All 4 classes are required for membership, but do not need to be taken consecutively. So if you miss one, you can make it up the next time it is offered. Upon completion, some people are content to be regular attenders, while others pursue full membership in the church. Watch the bulletin or website for upcoming classes.
Prayer Chain
Our Prayer Chain, “Gleanings” contains requests and praises sent weekly to many in our congregation who faithfully lift up the needs and concerns of others. Immediate needs are sent as concerns arise.
